General Terms and Conditions of Sale — Hege Equestrian

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “GTC”) are entered into between the brand HEGE EQUESTRIAN(the “Seller”), represented by the company HEGE EQUESTRIAN, registered under SIRET number 983 573 940 00019, whose registered office is located at 177 Chemin du Micocoulier, 06270 Villeneuve-Loubet, France, and any natural person purchasing one or more items offered for sale on the online store of the website www.hegequestrian.com, hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”.


Article 1 – Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Hege Equestrian and the Customer and apply to all purchases made on the website www.hegequestrian.com.

Sales are reserved for adult customers or minors with parental authorization.

By accepting these GTC, the Customer declares that they have reached the legal age in their country of residence and, where applicable, authorize minors under their responsibility to place orders on the website.

The GTC may be amended at any time. The applicable conditions are those in force on the date of the order. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review them at each validation.


Article 2 – Product Description

The products available for sale are those displayed on the website.
Each equestrian apparel product is accompanied by a description enabling the Customer to be informed of its essential characteristics.

Product photographs are as accurate as possible but do not constitute a contractual commitment, particularly with regard to colors, which may vary depending on screen settings or internet transmission.

During textile printing, slight variations in motif placement may occur due to the cutting process.

Hege Equestrian reserves the right to remove products from the website or modify their information at any time.

In the event of product unavailability after an order has been placed, the Customer will be informed by email. The order will then be cancelled and refunded.


Article 3 – Prices

Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (VAT included), excluding shipping costs.
Shipping costs are indicated prior to order confirmation.

For customers residing outside the European Union, French VAT does not apply.
Any taxes or customs duties imposed by the country of residence are the responsibility of the Customer.

The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, the price charged will be the one displayed at the time the order is placed.

Products remain the property of Hege Equestrian until full payment has been received.


Article 4 – Orders

To place an order on www.hegequestrian.com, the Customer must provide a valid email address and delivery address.

The Customer undertakes to provide accurate and complete information. Any incorrect information may result in order cancellation.

The Customer selects the products, validates the shopping cart, and proceeds to payment.
An order confirmation is sent by email.

Hege Equestrian reserves the right to refuse any order from a Customer with whom a previous dispute exists or who fails to comply with these GTC.

Order validation constitutes acceptance of these GTC.


Article 5 – Payment and Security

Payment is due immediately upon ordering.
Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

  • Apple Pay

  • Stripe (secure payment)

Banking information is processed securely via encrypted pages and is never accessible to the Seller.

In the event of an error or inability to debit the card, the order will be automatically cancelled.


Article 6 – Shipping and Delivery

Sales are available to customers residing:

  • in France

  • within the European Union

  • outside the European Union

Orders are shipped within 24 to 72 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).

A tracking number is sent to the Customer by email.

If an incorrect address results in the parcel being returned, reshipping costs shall be borne by the Customer.

Delivery times are indicative. If delivery exceeds 30 days, the Customer may request cancellation of the sale and a refund.

Parcel Reception

The Customer must check the condition of the parcel upon delivery.
Any anomaly (damage, tear, stain, etc.) must be reported to the carrier and noted on the delivery slip.

The statement “subject to unpacking” has no legal value.

If damage is discovered after delivery, Hege Equestrian cannot be held liable.

For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties are the responsibility of the Customer.


Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal

The Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal.

Returned products must be:

  • in their original condition

  • complete (packaging, tags, accessories)

  • unworn and unwashed

  • accompanied by proof of purchase

Failure to comply may result in refusal of the refund.

Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

Products purchased during sales or promotional periods are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Article 9 – Warranties

Products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects.

In the event of a defective item, the Customer must contact:

Hege Equestrian will then proceed with an exchange or refund.

Article 10 – Intellectual Property

All content on www.hegequestrian.com (texts, graphics, photos, logos, etc.) is protected by copyright.
Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior authorization from Hege Equestrian.


Article 11 – Liability

Hege Equestrian is bound by an obligation of means only.

The brand cannot be held liable for:

  • website interruptions

  • viruses

  • data loss

  • force majeure events

Electronic records constitute proof of transactions.


Article 12 – Commercial Offers and Newsletter

The Customer may receive offers from Hege Equestrian by email, SMS, or via social networks after giving consent.

The Customer may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each email.


Article 13 – Personal Data (GDPR)

By placing an order, the Customer agrees that their data may be collected by Hege Equestrian for:

  • order management

  • delivery

  • customer relations

  • marketing operations (with consent)

Data may be shared with logistics or technical service providers.

In accordance with the GDPR, the Customer has the right to:

  • access

  • rectification

  • erasure

  • objection

  • restriction

  • portability

The applicable GTC are those in force at the time the order is placed.


Article 16 – Applicable Law

These GTC are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute and failing amicable resolution, the Customer may bring the matter before:

  • the court of their place of residence, or

  • the court of the registered office of Hege Equestrian.


Article 17 – Disputes

Hege Equestrian shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of business, or indirect damages.


Article 18 – Partial Invalidity

If one clause is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
